ok so i bought a 98 front bumper got all new stuff from acura to make sure it would be on there nice and tight so i went to drive it and i notice the driverside bumper to fender connection came off so i was wondering is there a better way to hold it on there tight and FLUSH i heard that people use BOLTS AND NUTS but what size

Thats how its supposed to be, use a thicker sheetmetal screw insted of that wimpy black one and it should do fine.

 

DUDE! i have taken my bumper off atleast 7 times. just use some short bolts n some washers on the upper portion n lower. should hold tiGHT! but u have to work ur hand in there . its a little frustrating but its cool

 

another thing
it looks like the short black bols under the hood should be losend n the bumper pushed in-wards to make the hood more flush wiht the sceme of the bumper. good luk

 

 

in that 2nd picture, that plastic bolt on the right side of the bumper should be a metal screw, there is a threaded hole on the fender to screw into.

 

are those runs in the paint on your new bumper?

i actually thought it was quite obvious... wtf did they do to it use a rattle can on it?

 

i guess previous owner did it it had a few scuffs not a big deal care is gettin painted after i find my 98 rear

 

listen to integra 9000 and use a couple short bolts, its a pain but it works a lot better.
