Cant get bumper beam mounting bolts back in!!!
my 95 civic hatch..bumperbeam screws are stripped or something?
ok...my friend put in my subs and was trying to find a ground..unscrewed the bumper beam mounting bolts! well..the right side ones. but i cant get them back in!! the hole is off center..dont know if thats normal? also..you can even stick the screw in the hole and pull it out even after you spent 20 min tightening it..?
if you dont know what the bumper beam is..its the metal part under your bumper as in take off the bumper and you will see it.
any suggestions on how to get it back in? take off bumper..have some one hold the bumper beam up?

loosen the other side if it's not already and yes have someone jiggle it till it lines up... if that does not work take a punch or screw driver that will fit in the body and screw hole (hahaha I said screw hole)... and use it to pry the beam back into place... once there it's kinda a pain to get the bolt in (sometimes when you pull out the punch the part goes back out of pos. b4 you can put in the bolt)
GOod luck.

ya but if 2 on one side are OUT and the other side is still tight you won't be able to get the wiggle room
just loosen the other two DON'T take them out... just loosen them that should make it easy to get back in...
once 1 bolt is in USUALLY everything goes in easy... but no guarantees.
