hi, i was installing my new tokico shocks today and for some odd reason the forks wont tighten onto the shocks...then i realized it wasn't a DA fork. how? it already had tokicos on there but it was blow...i checked the number on the old tokicos and found out it was 3rd gen shocks. ....so would this be a quick fix? i rather not ship the shocks back and wait for a replacment:

find stock DA forks and swap out the 3rd gen forks and bam...new tokicos will fit?
