Default FOGGING

When you windshields fog up inside, how do you clean it. Cleaning it with dry cloth doesnt seem to work and I hate it when the fog marks appear during daytime. I use the screen wipes and they work O-K.

I use Rain X Anti-Fog on my GSR and it works wonders!.. You can find it at your local auto parts store..

But I use to use RainX and it only takes 2 days until it fogs up inside again. And when it does, I'm ususally left with runs.....

Is it Rain-X in the yellow bottle, or RainX ANTI FOG in the black bottle??

Here might be some helpful hints to avoid window fogging.

When you use the AC make sure you turn it off, but keave the fan blowing for the last 5 min of your trip, avoid using it on short trips.

AC does work well to de-fog windows (it naturally de-humidifies the air, and also is good for allergy sufferers).. BUT see above.

Avoid wiping it when its fogged up, just wait and it will clear up, the car has(should) be warmed up anyway.

Make sure you are not introducing moisture (more than normal) into the passenger area of the car, such as water leaks...heater core leaks.. etc.

i use newspaper to clean my windows(no lint) also if your windows are fogging up a lot and it rains a lot in your area check the sppare wheel compartment. i have a 94 teg and the rear tail light seals(made of foam rubber) were leaking into the trunk. i had over two galllons of water sloppin around back there. check it out.

GS-R_ocks, I don't know about you but.. I've put that stuff on my windshield 2 months or so ago and it's still working.. Now the driver/passanger side and rear windows, that's a whole different story.. I figured that I just need to add more on them..

nfn15037,as for which bottle I use.. I bought the black one..

I never get the runs from Rain-X anti-fog. I do however often get the runs after I eat a McRib.

I turn on my a/c and put it on defroster.

usually, fog inside my car means really humid, and the a/c is a dehumidifier.

but make sure you turn it off and leave the blower on for a few minutes, or there will be moisture in the lines...and just make it worse next time you turn it on. Not to mention the car will start to stink after a while (musty, mildew smell)

And also from heavy breathing...

Typically when my windows fog.... I let them fog... it's a signal to peeps outside to not come a knockin!

Try the fog-x stuff... it works!!
