Default fluids low??

I was looking around in the engine bay of my 90' GS today and I happened to notice my power steering fluid is low and my brake fluid is low in both resevoirs (reguluar and ABS).

I dont really have any leaks so where is this fluid going?? Should I just top off all the fluids or should I try and change them?? I know I should use Honda power steering fluid for the power steering but what kinda brake fluid do I want to add to my brake resevoir and ABS resevoir??

I have no idea how to change either the power steering fluid or the brake fluid so please please tell me what I need to do if I actually need to change the fluid instead of just topping it off. Please help a noob out.

you clearly have a leak somewhere. you're not burning the fluid, and changing the fluid wont do anything but you give you good, fresh fluid.

Brake fluid level naturally drops as the brake pads wear - as the pads wear, the pistons in the calipers move outward and the fluid fills the void left behind. Check your brake pads and replace them if required. If they are low, do NOT fill the master cylinder full until after you change the pads. (The fluid will just overflow when you push the caliper pistons back in to install the new pads!) Use DOT 3 fluid or better when topping up.

Visibly check all your power steering connections, hoses, rack etc and repair it if you find a leak. Otherwise just top it up with Genuine Honda power steering fluid.

ok, thanks for the info. I'll top off my power steering fluid tomorrow and check out the brake pad situation.

And reccomendations for brake fluid?? I know you said DOT 3 but are there any certain brands I should look for?? My brakes arent making any noise yet, but there probably getting low. Would it be ok for me to atleast add fluid until it comes up to the minimum line in the resevoirs until I can replace the brake pads if needed?? I know its not good to run your brake fluid low so I dont want to damage anything, but I dont want it overflowing everywhere if I replace my pads either.
