flowmaster mufflers
i searched and nothing
does anyone have any experience with flowmaster mufflers? im thinking of just getting a universal one, a 60 series delta flow. if you go to http://www.flowmastermufflers.com and look under 60 series, they are for small engines 4 and 6 cylinder, they have sound clips that are from a itr. do you think this would sound the same or similar on a mostly stalk b18b motor?

Yeah, seriously, dont be such a dick.
These mufflers will be very loud, they have no sound deadening material, just pure metal, so they will be very, very loud. Go for a magnaflow, I got the 24 incher and I cant hear anything, straight through too. It actually probably flows better than a flowmaster too.

are you sure? cause ive heard magnaflow and they are "somewhat" loud, i think all canisters are loud. if you have a cable/dsl connection check out the flowmaster website and tell me what you think. the 60 series has quite a bit of sound deadening material to keep it quite.

Egh, Im just lettin you know what I think. If your looking for a quiet muffler, just got Magnaflow, they actually have sound deadening material in there, like fiberglass or something, and its stock quiet, but flows well. Why do you like flowmasters anyway, not to be sarcastic.

I've only heard Flowmaster exhaust amplifiers, oops I mean mufflers, on big cam 5.0's and F-body's. I don't recall which line of mufflers. V8's actually sound somewhat decent with near open pipes. Can't say that about Honda's though...

they're not strait flow through mufflers, they have chambers inside that channel the exhaust gases, my brother had a 3 chamber on his 64 Ford, and its sounded really nice. but that was a V8, i'd still pick flowmaster over some of the fart cans i see some people buy. they are quality exhaust and sound and perform good, maybe thats why most of the hotrod people but them. i know someone that had one on his nissan 180, and it was nice deep tone muffler. so i'd say go for it, try it and let us know. they're not as expensive as other catback out there, and seriously, how much power is the exhaust going to give you. only after you heavily modify the motor will the exhaust show a major improvement.
