Hello all,
I just bought an '86 Integra RS with a really bad rust problem. On the passenger side there is a nice sized hole and a smaller hole in the frame rail. Is it poossible to weld a steel plate over the hole and maybe a bar for the frame rail? I am not planning on drivnig the car competively just an easy fix to make the car a little safer and more stable.

I recomend cutting the hole out into a nice square and then weld the plate to the frame. it would be okay for daily driving. make sure there isn't anymore hidden rust spot in the frame.
