Default First time at the dyno...

Went to dyno my car for the first time today. I am pretty happy with the power I made, since I went pretty cheap style on the n/a mods. Anyone know what a stock GSR will put down to the wheels on a dyno?

If you can't read it, my max power was 153, and max torque was 116.9. Mods are:
Iceman CAI
Kamikaze 4-1 header
Powercore 2.5" highflow cat
Apexi N1 exhaust

Are you planning on going sc? Most NA people don't buy the kami header. I made 157 with the mods listed in my sig minus the flywheel. I need a cat.

Nope, I bought the Kami header cause it was super cheap, hehe. I have all my turbo stuff sitting here behind me just waiting to go in. I bought mostly cheap n/a parts cause I knew I'd be turbo'ing it in the future.

I like the N1, sounds great to me. I don't like that the muffler section doesn't fit exactly right, it melted a small hole in my bumper :/

I think with a better header my car would have made a few more hp, but I'm happy with what I got for sure.

154.8 peak HP/114.9 peak TQ with DC 4-2-1 and DIY icebox
155.9 peak HP/116.3 peak TQ with DC 4-2-1 only

but we all know peak numbers don't tell the whole story, right?

like i said, peak numbers don't tell the whole story. below 4400 RPM my torque increased by 10 ft-lbs with the icebox. and all the way up the rest of the powerband it was down by 1 hp across the whole board, but that may have been the fan blowing directly on the exposed air filter when i removed the icebox/airbox cover. so for $10, it's a pretty worthwhile mod

I hear you, peak isen't always everything, when I went to the dyno and tuned in more and more fuel down low at like 3000-4000rpms I kepyt getting more and more torque. That mid-low end torque gained was definatly noticeable driving around!

Dunno if your asking me, but mine was around 14.?? below 4500rpms and 12.0 to 12.3 the rest of the way..... but thats turbo tuning, n/a you want different a/f ratios much leaner then mine.
