Is anybody still using this thing, or has everyone switched over to the vafc? Im thinking of switching over myself.. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Is this Fields vtec controller the real basic one with the dial and the little light? If so can you tell me how to use it? I have one and need to use it to set my vtec higher, the crower stage 3 cams can't handle vtec when it hits at 4500. Thanks, and I was using the VAFC before, but it was my friend's and he needed it back when he finally finished building his LSvtec.
