fender paint bodywork question
so i had holes in my fiberglassed fender (i use fiberglass fenders cause i do not like rust)
i fixed them with fiberglass underneath and bondo on the top side, sanded it all flush and primered it black.
I can see the blemishes or patches threw the black primer where i had fixed the holes with bondo.
i only have one coat of primer on atm, but i do not like how i can sorta see the blemish from the bondo threw the primer.
Do i need to sand and continue to do coats for them to go away? i do not want to do few more coats and still have them show and i esp do not want to do the red paint n have it show.
if u look closely at the picture below u can see the little area circles of bondo show up under the primer
any input is appreciated.
job on hold until i get feedback. thanks

ok bro. this is what i want you to do. Get a block and some 400 grit sand paper. preferrably a block that is longer than the area youre working is wide. then wet sand with the 400. if you begin to see area that is still black after you have sanded it down to the body filler then that would indicate a low spot. if that is the case simply add more filler to the area. and you also need to feather edge you patch job so that it is smooth at all edges and your hand cannot feel the difference. then use your spot putty to fill any minor imperfections in the filler. then you may want to hit it with a high build primer using 3 med coats allowing however much flash time the can says. typically this is 10-20 minutes. use your tack cloth in between coats and wetsand as necessary. if you have any more questions let me know.
