i just have a simple question. My car a 94 integra gs-r is feeling sluggish. like it feels like it doesnt make much power through out the whole power band. IT used to pull harder
. i just want to make sure what it may be. i know my clutch is going out. it slips here and there but mainly when i got to WOT. also its been prety hot lately. you guys think its my clutch not gripping that hard anymore or do i need a tune up or something? sometimes when i hit vtec the clutch starts to slip. it mainly slips when it hot out or if i drive hard. MY car feels like i'm towing a boat or something behind my car. the pedal is really soft and it is a stage four clutch. MODS ARE LISTED in my SIG. thanks again guys any help is appreciated

Well there isn't any mods in your sig. But first take a compression test...how many miles on your car?
Replace your clutch if its slipping.
Could be a number of things. Check your normal maintenance and make sure all your fluids are good. Very hot and muggy days take there toll on a car and its more difficult to breathe....could be a number of variables.

For starters im surprised you have a Skunk2 IM without opening up anymore power with atleast a header/exhaust setup. Maybe some ITR cams.
You've probably lost some low end torque...
Go to any parts store for auto parts. Buy a compression tester. Follow the directions...do it for each cylinder and see what your numbers are. Then, post them on the site. We will tell you how your engine is doing.

yeah i know im working on getting a hold of a jdm itr header, tiR exhaust system, with some skunk2 stage 2 cams with valve train, and some ctr pistons to bump up compression. but you dont think it could be the clutch or just a simple tune up?? im going to test the compression. what numbers should it be at???

The car will of course be sluggish if the clutch is slipping because the engine is not turning the gearbox properly. You are losing torque because of the slipping clutch, hence the feeling of towing a boat. First do the clutch and then if the car is still not pulling look into it further.
