alright well i just recently bought a 1994 4-door gsr. last night i ran it at the track just to see what it would do. after i got down the track and back to where i was parking one of the fans starting rubbing a little when it would come on. so i was wondering if maybe the headers were putting off enough heat to make it expand a little because after i let it cool down awhile it wasnt rubbign anymore. anyone else ever have this problem? and please tell me if im wrong about the expanding thing. im new to this. thank you.
First of all I would try to figure out what the 2nd header is doing in your car, that might be causing the issue.
All jokes aside, if the motor gets hot while your racing, it can cause your fan to temporarly deform and rub if its already pretty close to rubbing. If you ever go on a long trip make sure its fixed first.
