wheel bearings. i just replaced mine and my car would shake when i speed up. u can test it by taking off your wheel. grab the rotor and try shaking it. if it shakes just even a bit. get it replaced. let me know if that fix the problem

ok so my ride is still bad...
new upper and lower ball joints, new tie rods.
oddly enough, it rode fine before the tranny was replaced.

the only other thing i can think of is that when dropping the tranny i removed the front engine mount and realized it was about shot so i didnt put it back on, because ive had cars with an absent front mount and they were fine. in some cases can this cause shakiness?

what made me realize this is when it begins shaking the shifter moves so im thing the tranny must be moving, idk.

Ok so get the car to shake and put it into neutral and roll, if it still shakes its the suspension, if it stops its a issue with the tranny

you removed a engine mount and left it off.

rofl thats one of the core supports for your engine...

should get another one and get that on there.
then recheque your torques on the suspension parts you've replaced and the tie rod jam nuts etc. something is loose. or missing..

btw sup ehonda how is your build coming, i havnt been around here in a while. i picked up a project integra my brother left me for free, slowly doing that myself hehe.

it's not the front torque mount. you can pull it out and it won't make a difference because they are ALWAYS torn. i guarantee if you all go outside and take the pry bar with you, at least 80% of you will see that mount is torn to ****

Perfect place to start from your description. You need to eliminate one system, engine/tranny from tires, wheels, suspension.

yep. good advice right there to narrow things down. could also be the axle(s) though if it stops shaking in neutral

Since you have changed out so many of the suspension parts, a alignment is called for. I havent seen you stated that you have done a alignment.

For front mount, are you talking about the torque mounts on the bottom of the right and left sides of the car or the mounts near the top of the engine on the right and left side?

^^yeah, don't worry about that one. they're always hammered. i've been riding without mine for some time now. b-series into ef's don't run them either.
it will put some extra stress on the other mounts, possibly. but i don't think it's what's causing your problem

does the vibration goes away when you let off the gas, those it vibrate under power, or does it vibrate costing.

just an update: ive been away at college now so i can only mess with the teg on weekends im home. but anyway, new ball joints, tie rods, upper control arms later and i still had some shaking.

so the other day i had the back end in the air to check on an exhaust issue, bump my rear tire and found about 1.5 inches of play on both, rear camber kit bushings totally gone and one bolt nearly an inch off the body. so i should have the new ones in and on next weekend, and hopefully that does the trick.

oddly enough i had no problems before the tranny went, almost like someone tampered with my stuff as it sat lol.

i have sorta the same problem in reference to the title of this thread. i've owned my 96 ls integra from about a year and a half and its been consistent. i thought it was my stiff suspension cuz of my coilovers but in the span i've owned the car i've replaced my cv shaft 3 times going on 4. for some reason my boots keep tearing. just recently though i was driving to seattle which is like an hour from my house and my car was rattling and when i pulled over, i tested the ride going slow and i heard a clicking sound. i automatically assumed its my cv joint. so i got it towed back to my house and when i analyzed the situation i found out my passenger side tire's lug nuts were either loose or missing. so i tightened em and it still kinda rides rougher than what it has been.. i'm out of ideas.. first i thought it was my cv shafts which it is a partial problem but there has to be a reason why those are tearing so easily.. there should be no reason why i've had to replace my cv shafts 3 times... anybody got an answer to that??

id just try to start going over the suspension piece by piece. as you can read from my situation here, you might find something needs replaced, replace it and have the problem persist. but at least by doing this you can eliminate several things and could be and narrow it down to eventually find the problem.

check ball joints, tie rods, upper and lower control arms to start, these parts are cheap to replace anyway. id take a look at your motor mounts too.
