Sounds like you are burning oil. I had the same issue with accumulating gunk on my bumper and it turned out it was going through a few quarts a week because of bad rings.

I would get a leakdown and compression test to confirm.

Iunno, I just had my engine fully rebuilt. Everything was replaced. then put a new JDM spec 4-1 header, carsound cat, and an rsr ex-mag and after 200 miles I've noticed that too. Well, maybe mine was burning everything since it was new... but iunno lol.

It must have been built wrong. Obviously, the rings didn't seat, so there must be a problem with the clearances, procedure putting them in, or your tuning.

There is no reason that a freshly rebuilt should smoke, so something wasn't done correctly.

can the rings be the culprit of burning oil on a b18c1 even when the compression is at the 210's for all 4 cylinders?

Sounds like you're burning oil which is causing all the mess from your exhaust.
