DAMN.....HELP ME PLEASE; ANYONE.

I just bought a jdm b18b and installed it. But when I start the car it cranks but you have to have your feet on the gas paddle so it'll be at 2000rpm or higher in order for the engine to keep running. Need help.

 

check vacuum lines, battery life

 

n e updates? fix it, still stuck?

you might have a shot TPS, those are known to be commonly bad when purchasing/installing a motor swap

any CEL's?

 

lets hear more about the gas paddle. lol. i don't think the battery has anything to do with this. its starting, and running. as for a vacuum line? what does that have to do with the battery? i'm confused.

 

if there is a cel for a map sensor which is commonly mistook and switched with the tps sensor, it wont run right, also vacuum lines can give you a funky idle if they have holes in them etc. i fixed this issue recently on my car, as for the battery goes i miss-read a bit. check for CEL codes and update

 

maybe a bad connection on the ecu... i had a similar problem cables where switched.
