Engine VIN

hey,
on the gsr shouldn't there be a plate with the VIN engraved in it just to the left of the engine code on the engine block?

so a used gsr with the original engine shouldn't have it? the engine was brand new from honda at one point... why would it ever be taken off?

a used gsr engine would have it. brand new from honda, meaning buying the block itself from honda, no car included, so it wont come with a VIN

my 95 gsr tranny and block don't vins??? I insepcted the tranny after the b16 tranny swap and there was nothing engraved nothing scraped wierd!

probably was replaced by the dealer or some sort.. but forsure you dont have the factory motor in there anymore or tranny

vin on the tranny are only present with 96 and up model integra.
