I have a 99' GSR. 80k miles. it just had its 75k mile warranty done on it and it has been running great. Last night i was smashin on it a little. I just did a short run from 0 to the top of 4th and shortly after, when i got home, i noticed a lot of smoke pouring out from my hood. I could tell it was antifreeze because of the smell. Does anyone know why this happened? or has something similar happened to anyone else? Its too dark to take a look at it right now, but i didnt see any physical leaks anywhere, just a lot of smoke. any help would be awesome.
i had something like that happen today, I thought i had a blown head gasket and my raidiator hoes are pouring water but found out i whent through a deep mud puddle and it splashed up under the hood. Mine is lowered 2 1/2 inches. It just threw water from the crank polly so if its on the side of the crank it might be that just an idea. It might have been water steaming from your header.

hey all, i didnt really look at it at the time but i examined it the other day and its just a bad radiator. i blew a weld in the corner, so when the car gets really hot, it shoots out steam. its actually kinda tight. ha. thanks for the reply tho.
