just got my 00 gsr last week, and seems to run to cold. engine temp guage never gets above 1/4 the way up when im driving. if i let it sit and idle its nomal, stays just below 1/2 way. i think the thermostat may be stuck open. any suggestions??

 

i would start with a new thermostat. it's cheap and easy.

 

figured i would replace that when i did my timing belt. thx

 

I had the same problem and it was the thermostat.
