Engine swap help.
To make a long story short i have just acquired a 94 integra with a thrown rod. I am looking to do a engine swap but can't find anything in the searches. Can someone guide me in the right direction as of options of what engines i can use and i am also very interested in a gsr swap.
my friend is going through the same thing.... heres the thing, he was looking at an h22 swap, but he didnt want to spend upwards of 4k for the whole swap. He can get a long block gsr for 1900, BUT he also can get a full b16 swap for 2200. now there is always going to be this battle be between the b18 and b16, but it depends on what your looking for, the b16 is more readily availible, and can make b18 numbers very easily. but the gsr is a nice swap. but when i had my stock dc4, i raced my friend with a ej1 with a gsr swap with only exhaust, and i was not impressed at all, and he does know how to drive, but than again all of my friends think i have a fluke teg. but anyway, if the funds arent there, go with a b16 thy are easier to come by, YES everyone has a b16 but you can make some impressive numbers out of it. but its really up to you
If you can't find any 94-95 engines that for your car, obd2 will work fine also.
Only things you need to change out from your old engine are the,
Dizzy, alternator, and injectors.
I might of forgotten some stuff, but oh well.
And I'm not going into the whole gsr swaps either,
check that site, they have a lot to choose from.
