I'm going to be putting a type r conversion on a 99 gsr 4 door but think there might be problem, the original gsr was a automatic and the type r of course is a 5 speed is this swap possible, and if so how much extra and coin is this going to be.

 

you'll be swapping the ITR tranny in also right?

btw, since when did a GSR come with an automatic tranny?

 

I think in like 97 they started doing an auto tranny in the gsr, thats what i heard anyways....why youd want one, i have no idea.

I dont think so Tim. Im pretty sure that GSR's NEVER came with AT's.

 

whos Tim? thats was just what i heard, ive never actually seen one

 

usdm gsr's were all stick and never came in auto
auto gsr's only came in japan

I can safely say that I am 100% sure that GSR's(in the states at least) DO NOT come with an auto tranny.

leather seats only came standard on 00-01 gsr's
all other years it was an option

i dont know about that but i know there was no 4 door 98 + integra's period........

98+ only came in the coupe
