Engine stiffener
I'm going to be swapping a GS-R transmission into my auto LS and I can't seem to find a straight answer or really any answer at all whether I need a GS-R engine stiffener or an LS one? On Acuraoemparts.com, the GS-R & LS stiffeners have different part numbers, so I assumed they were different? Here is a pic so you know what I'm talking about, it's #9.

The GS-R actually has 2 stiffeners - the #9 one shown there, and another smaller one on the forward side of the engine.
Who knows if the #9 is the same or not. It looks very close to being the same in that diagram and the GS-R engine diagram. Actually, there are 3 different part numbers for #9, 1 for the B18C1, 1 for the B18B A/T, and 1 for the B18B M/T.
Just see if yours will fit. If it doesn't, you can still drive easy on it until you can order a different one.

Solution: Auto-to-Manual conversion mount. Hasport/Innovative has them.
I know since I've done a AT-2-MT conversion.
just my 2 cents:
just have the motor and tranny be held by the usual three motor mounts to hold it...if you still have your torque mounts, the better.
I don't even have an engine stiffener in my car and is only being held up by three mounts with polyurethane - 1 Hasport AT-2-MT mount, and 2 stock mounts with polyurethane using window-weld.
works though.

Yeah, he did the innovative mount. I'm talking about the engine stiffener.
