I have a 90 integra and its makin a weird rattling noise when its at certain rpms, usually around 2500-3000 and only under normal throttle presure, if i press the pedal all the way down, it wont do it. same as if i pull the throttle from the engine bay, it'll only do it under light throttle. the sound is comin from the valve cover but idk what would be causing it. does anyone know what would be makin that noise?

 

Bent valve maybe. Engine smoke much?

 

What exactly is a weird rattling noise? Ticking, clunking, banging?
Is it Very loud? does it make the noise fast, or slow?

And are you sure it sounds as if Inside the valvecover?

 

its like a clunking noise and yea im sure its comin from the valve cover. i can hear it comin from there everytime. and it doesnt smoke
