Default Engine problems

Having difficulties with my idle. So basically my cars been starting like crap lately. Every once in awhile I'd start it either cold or warm and it'd sound like a lawnmower or like it's only running on 3 cylinders. It starts at 500 rpms and roughly works it way up. I ran a compression test and got the following results;

Cylinder 1-190
Cylinder 2-215
Cylinder 3-190
Cylinder 4-190.

Also, when I pulled the cylinder 2 spark plug, it had a shiny residue which is probably oil.

Another thing is that my cars been idling really weird besides the weak start up. It idles at 900 fully warmed up and idles at 11-1200 when i'm rolling in neutral and every once in awhile when I'm rolling and take it out of gear it would go down and stop at 1500 and then go down to 900-1100rpms. Occasionally it would bounce off 1200 and then go back to 1500 and then back down. Again, this is when I'm cruising and then take it out of gear.

List of Mods if it helps;
B18c1
Mild PnP and HP Valve Job
Skunk2 IM
Supertech Valves, VS and Retainers
Stock GSR Cams
Stock Block

Also, Head was recently replaced due to have burnt valves and the spark plugs and spark plug wires have less than 1000miles on them.

So basically I'm just tryna figure out what could be the potential problem to my car? Any help would be appreciated.

Well This problem has to be Valve adjustment or the rings are going out..But if i was you i would adjust the valves for sure if not adjusted yet.

Valve Adjustments were already done correctly and the rings could be a possibility but I had a leakdown done about a month ago and my tuner said that they were a little worn but not enough to justify a full rebuild. The rings were only slightly worn in cylinder 4 I believe.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I'm going to put some 00Spec ITR/CTR cams in either today or tomorrow and get a tune whenever some cash flows this way.

bump..

so this is all tuning related? i just don't wanna get a tune and figure out something else is wrong with it. i'd rather fix everything first and then tune it.

Correct me if I’m wrong but is it okay for cylinder two to sit at 215? I thought the cylinders are suppose to read around 185-195 all across? Well anyways, I agree with the others, a tune is indeed need for sure. You have more than just the basic mods, more done internally which I’m assuming you’re going all motor. But since you wanted to know if anything else is could be the problem besides a need of tune, the only thing I could think of is your skunk2 IM. On honda-tech, there is many many post pertaining to idling issues after installing aftermarket IM such as Skunk2, Obx, etc or a bigger throttle body.

reset the ecu and check the iac sensor and the iat sensor make sure nothings switched also im leaning toward a vac. leak or limp mode look into those before its tunned.

Is your cam timing on? Over-rev? CEL? I second checking idle vacuum for leaks. Did you have the Skunk IM on before this problem started?

10+% difference between cylinders is not good though. Maybe try a leak down test.

I set the timing, no over revs, no CEL, and I only started experiencing problems once I put my head on. I also have a vacuum leak that shows up when it wants too and also sensors are in correct spots. I'm thinking that cylinder 2 was just spitting out to much fuel which could explain the shiny residue on the spark plug.

I'm starting to lean towards another tune which I need any ways. But, like I said if anyone can think of any other problems then throw em at me.

Thanks for all the opinions and help btw!
