I have made several datalogs with my Hondata and my water temp never goes above 165degF. How am I supposed to tune if the engine is always adding cold fuel enrichment? Is there something I can do? I'm think maybe my thermostat is faulty. I have a Turbo B18B fully built and sleeved and a C&R Racing radiator. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Is this on the street or on the dyno? On the street, this time of year, the motor will probably be running quite a bit cooler if you have constant airflow. If its on the dyno, it will heat up passed 165 usually if you put enough load on the motor for enough time.

 

on the street, and yes on the dyno it was running normal temp. I aould have to let it idle for like fifteen minutes to get it to 170degF. How can I get it to run in its "normal" range?

 

new thermostat. Had same problems, fixed it.
