after i run my car for a while and turn it off i hear some little pinging noises for a couple of seconds afterwards. what could be the problem? i thought maybe it was a bent valve but i'm not sure. anyone have any idea?

 

All of our cars do that. I think it is the metal in the heat shield on the cat expanding / contracting. Don't worry about it.

oh ok. my friend was telling me that the noise isn't common so i started to worry and think of all the possible things it could be. Yeah i'm on the Island. As far as mods not much. Just Iceman intake and a short shifter. I'm saving up for stuff this summer, but since my crap *** job didn't give me a raise or make me an assitant manager i have to work like 58 hours a week =\ to actually have money left over after bills. Oh by the way don't ever work or go to Aid Auto stores! They suck! I know i work there. What town are you from?
