How do you read or find out the release year of your engine?
I have a B18C with no letters or numbers after the C. How do I know if it's a JDM B18C"1" or a JDM Type R. Does the "clock" looking dials on the head explain what year it is?

yes there will be a number: 94, 96 etc on one of those.

 

where is this number located? there are 4 "clock" emblems..which is which?

i beleive its the first one. on my b18a1 the first dial is 9/0 and its a 90 so....
