Engine code (to rich or to lean)
Hey! New to the site. I have a 99 turbo ls. i am running 10lbs. I have had the turbo on the car for about 4 weeks and it runs mint. Fast as hell. But when i am accelerating slow the car chugs hard and cuts out around 1500-3000rpms. I am running a supper afc on a obd2 ecu. The car has been tuned with a wide band o2 and shows nothing when the car chugs. Anyone know whats goin on? Please help
whats wrong is you arent running the correct engine management. trash that safc and get uberdata, hondata, aem ems, crome, anything. your motor is going bye bye without proper tuning... THAT is what the problem is. please dont tell me this is on a stock bottom end too... if so, i cant believe the car has been running for 4 weeks.
I know what u mean about the engine going bye bye but when i hook up the lap top with the wide band the graph shows that it is running stoich all the way up the rpm's. I know that the safc isn't the best but i am hoping to just make it till winter than i am going to build it and get a better engine management. Anything i can do till than?
your runnig stoich all the way up? what are you using a FMU? stoich is 14.7:1 i hope you not running 14.7:1 in boost
what is your air/fuel ratio when driving around while your having these drivability problems?
sounds like it can either be a fuel or timing issue. more so a fuel issue since you have no way of controling timing without a real engine managment system

yeah the key to others running 10 pounds on stock ls bottom ends is that they tuned the living hell out of it so that it runs perfect. you on the other hand have half assed it... sorry to be rude, but i just dont want to see your motor blow on you because i know you have prob spent a lot of money on her.
