Default Engine Breather

Is it harmful to run the motor without the hose from the engine connecting to the intake? Is it worth while to buy a breather? What are the damges possibly?

A breather is better than nothing, they're what $10 bucks at the parts store?

those breather filters are pointless unless the crankcase pressures are higher than stock

Its good to have the intake line ran but if you dont its not going to blow your motor or have any significant damage.

Unless you are boosted, leave the hose hooked up to the intake.

Everything I've seen supports the FACT that you still get nasty **** on a N/A mostly stock setup going back into your motor via the PCV system. I know this because when I took my aftermarket tube off from my SRI tube it had alot of oily ****, and I checked out some of my friends cars and it had alot of oily **** in it too...I don't know about you,but I'd rather not have that **** going back into my intake.....I need to get an oil catch can
