engine bogged out and is flooded
i just recently bought my 98' integra LS it ran strong and fine until it started to bog down on occasion it would usually fire right back up except for this last time. see i started it the other morning and the tach jumped right to about 3 thousand for a second and then down to 1.5 thousand to until it warmed up so i started to go and a little more than a mile from my home it bogged down agian but this time it would not start. so i had it towed home when it got to my driveway there was fuel pouring out of my intake and my engine was fuel flooded to the max. so i changed the oil replaced the fuel pressure regulator and cleaned the plugs engine cranks but wont start and yet agian i notice my crankcase a quart over with fuel not from trying to start it but from just having the key in the "ON" or "II" position on the ingnition switch. my buddy thinks it might be a leaky injector and that fuel is getting past it even while its not running my thoughts are that the ecu is telling the injectors to dump all the fuel in but i dont know much about the sensors and the ecu itself can anybody help?
Im pretty sure its not just ONE injector because of the rate at which it dumps the fuel into the motor. so im sure its got somthing to do with the ECU Which is somthing i dont know to much about. So if any one can help me out with what to do about that ecu (resetting if possible) or figuring out what kind of ECU would be a good replacement it would be a help.
