Hey guys,

Recently my horn stopped working, every now and then it'll honk for a split second when i try it but usually doesn't work. My Cruise has also stopped working. it will set for like 2 seconds and then just shut off (the light stays on thought). also my driver side window has not worked for some time, however i think that is that switch.

Anyone know what could be causing this? Loose ground? if so where the hell would that ground be?

what you need to replace to fix your horn and cruise control is called a clockspring and it is a really common problem in cars these days it also causes problems with the airbag system. It is not a cheap fix if you buy it new but it will fix the problem
make sure when you replace it that you make sure that the steering wheel is straight and make sure the clockspring can wind either way 3.5 times in other words make sure its in the middle and don't force anything

 

any other opinions? and what the hell is a clockspring?
