hey hope u guys can help i havent had much luck sreaching but here, there is a guy at my school its a 90 teg gs m/t and it throws a code 12 EGR but there is no egr on it... did a/t only come with egrs?
he doesnt know any of the history on it, if so that only a/t come with egrs and they did a tranny change to m/t they might have not changed the ecu so if u guys know the ecu codes on that tmr i am goin to take it out and see what numbers are on it
also he says he has a irratic idle i was goin to look at the basic and clean them and see if that helps but what is the thing on top of the throttle body? dash pot? do though go bad and cause bad idle?

is there a label on the hood? there should be an emission label that tells you what kind of emission devices came with the car.

 

nope there isnt which sucks

 

90 integra's have egr's. look on the firewall next to the map sensor, its right there... two little solenoids.

 

i will double check tmr i was not the one working on it at first but they told me they couldnt find it
