ECU upgrade?
Is it necessary to upgrade the stock ECU after installing the crower 403 cams, springs, and retainers? want to be able to take full advantage of the power, especially if it's at the high rpm range. the non-vtec motor redline is at 6800!

Re: ECU upgrade? (REDBULLS)
ECU upgrade is not really necessary for those cams. they dont make that much more power over the stock redline anyway. 7500rpm would be the max i would go with those cams and stock bottom end. anymore that than they get ready for some trouble.
if you want you can get a professional ECU tuner to fine tune your ECU on a dyno after you have done all your mods but that can be pretty expensive. or you can buy a Apexi S-AFC and tune it yourself on a dyno.
