ecu question for ls
I need an ecu for my ls integra auto...looking for an increased redline too not sure which ones will work and which wont. If anyone has one for sale that i could use please let me know either through email, thread or cell phone 607-759-0637
your redline is set for a reason where it is because thast the max power it can put out unless its very modded. But from your post im assuming its stock or close to it.
I have a short ram intake, ractive header, and greddy evo catback and aem pulleys isnt there some ecu that I can use to get more power out of my engine with those upgrades?
not really, it can breath a bit better but you stock ecu can deal with that. unless you go pistons, intake manifold, cams.....ect then you shouldnt need a new ecu or chipped ecu
plus no matter what you do, an auto ls will always be slow. there is a like a full second difference in 1/4 mile times for an auto and manual ls. I've gone against modded auto ls' with my 5 speed and given them a 2 car head start to only beat them by like 3 or 4 cars.

a 5spd swap....... are crazy.....
sell and buy a 5sp and dont worry about a new ecu
just keep the same one cause automatics dont go nowhere
especially since a ls....
