Default ECU programming

Another nooob question: Is it possible to reprogram the stock ECU that came with my stock 94 RS B18B1 to be compatible with just about ANY upgrades and mods I will make to my car in the future? I'm asking because I know someone who can program ECUs and was wondering if i can just ask him to reprogram my ECU after I get VTEC and whatever else i get in the future.

go with EPROM editing.. you can add vtec, set your govenor (if any) and rev limit, and do lots of other cool trick stuff (like add boost, heh).. the software is free that we used, and i was able to download a Skunk2 map i found, then i adjusted my s-afc when we tuned for my turbo. And I have a 98 teg, i had to use an older OBDI ECU and an OBDII to OBDI converter, two extra things you won't have to buy. I should tell you, the Skunk2 map is meant for certain, pretty major upgrades. Not just "ANY" upgrades like you hoped. I think the map is meant for at least i/h/e and maybe even IM and throttle body upgrades. I found it before, so you should be able to now.

Edit: that means YES, you can upgrade your ECU to be chipped.. first it has to be socketed.. i didn't realize you were born yesterday, do your own research before you ask. you could've easily found this out.

you can power tune your car so the answer is sorta a yes, but ur best bet would be to get a hondata s100 and it will make your car handle the parts better. cause if your serious about the car then the mods you make will need an ecu upgrade.
