Default ecu identification

i was just wondering which ecu to use. do you go by chassis or engine? i have 97 gsr motor in a 98 gsr chassis. people have said that it is the same but i kinda find it hard to believe because of the fuel tank pressure sensor. i have the a04 right now but i keep getting cel p1457. have not found any leaks so maybe i have the wrong ecu?

so far this is what i found

37820-P72-A01 94-95 GSR OBDI
37820-P72-A02 96 GSR OBDIIa
37820-P72-A03 97 GSR OBDIIa
37820-P72-A04 98-99 GSR OBDIIa, fuel tank sensor
37820-P72-A05 00-01 GSR OBDIIb, immobilizer

You can use an A02, A03 or A04 directly.
