Default ECU data retrieval technique

First off this is gonna sound weird but please read on.

I work at a honda dealership and got a call this morning from a detective investigating a very well known local case. For the greater good I am trying to help as much as I possibly can. The investigator is trying to recover information from the ECU of a recovered vehicle (2000 Acura Integra LS). What they are after is any imformation that might be in the ecu about the last drive the vehicle made. My tech's in the shop say that it will not store any of this data unless there was a check engine light. I figured some of the ECU nuts on here might know better even though the car is obd2. Please help if you can even if its just to say it's not possible. Thanks to anyone who responds helpfully in advance.

I don't think its possible at all. Our integra's aren't like the high end bmw's and other luxury cars that has an ecu which stores information. Our ecu's are basic...tells the car how much a/f to use. Might want to talk to the guys on pgmfi.org

Found out that it may be possible to retrieve some useable data IF the car had a check engine light on during its last few trips... So all we can do is hope it was throwing a code

A GM would have those data as Big Brother is watching. Typically they are stored in the airbag computer. I know of no storage for Hondas.
