Default ECU Compatibility

Good day - Still trying to figure our my ECU dramas - I have ECU 37820-P73-Q01. Does anyone know which other ECUs would be compatible with this? The engine is B18C7 Type R. My original ECU is locked with the red key immobiliser.
Any help greatly appreciated!

What do you need a compatible ecu for? Planning on running a obd 1 conversion chipped ecu?

You can get a p75 or p28 converted to vtec with a conversion harness. p06 converted to DOHC and add VTEC.

For the immobilizer, just remove it, have it bypassed, or swap out your wiring.

Q01 B18c7 I forget where that’s from. Any p73 ecu should work. For immobilizer I think you can rewire or cut a wire.

You can either run OBD1 or OBD2a wiring or bypass the immobilizer at the ecu.

Why don't you get Hondata to deactivate the Immobilizer or take the ECU and your key to Honda and have them re-program it?
