What would happen if i put a Gsr ECU in my 97 LS? MY Gsr is a theft rec. so its got an LS motor and trans (I call it the Ls-R ) Would there be any gains of any sort?

dont do it....your car will run like ****. you're better off selling the gsr ecu and buying an ls one...you'll most likely have some cash left over also since the ls ecu's are cheaper.

i dont understand your question...do you have an LS or a GSR? or do you have a LS with a GSR motor? If you have a GSR motor in your LS, then run a p72 GSR ecu. If you have an LS motor, then sell the gsr ecu and get the correct LS ecu.

LS motor, gsr body, tach etc... my only concern is if the speedo would read correctly, cuz its a ls trans as well and i doubt im goin 80 in 3rd gear.
