ebay chips
has anyone ever tried the ebay "performance" chips. do they actually work? imo i think a chip that costs $20 and says mugen or any name brand has to be fake or just flat out ****
It depends on what you are looking to achieve. If you just want a higher rev limit and lower vtec point then the eBay chips are good. If you looking for 20 hp for $25, that is not going to happen. The chip is not going to tune your car for you, plus you need to have chips installed by someone who knows how to install properly and not burn the ecu's motherboard.
i would think twice from buying a chip from ebay.. I mean, who's going to put it in for you and tune it..? Theres a guy floating around here named PhiZ who chips ecu's. You can talk to him and you can expect some good gains.
