dropping
I just got my Tenzo shu 4 17's put on today. I wasnt to dop my car, and I was planning on ground controls. BUT I am lacking bad in cash and my car looks funny not dropped, so I am thinging of like eibach drag launch or sport something or other springs. what would you recommend-- buy springss now and GC's later, or keep my car looking "offroadish" and just wait for the gc's. I am thinking the timeline for being able to afford the GC's is about a month-month and a half. THANKS

ground control is a company that sells "fake" height adjustable coilovers, the sleeve and perch kind. They made a deal with eibach, so customers can get a just about any spring rate they want. oh, and just because what they sell is "fake," that doesn't mean that it's not bad. people with these coilovers and koni yellows can easily pull over 1 lateral g with the right spring rates, of course.

i think the most cost effective is to wait until you can afford the GC's or whatever you want.. if you buy springs now..and then buy GC's later.. your spending a lot and most likely your not going to get all that much when you sell the eibach springs.... so I would wait until you can afford the set up that you want...

Get coilovers. Just in case you get a set of springs that will make you scrape your tires on your fender well like my Neuspeed Race springs do. Adjustability is key.

should have gone w/ suspension first, for the very reason that unlowered cars w/ big rims looks ghey.
I personally don't care about big rims, I just want my car to handle and stick the the road like no other. konis + H&R Sport + good 205/50 tires on stock rims = most cost effective setup =
*edit* almost forgot, big wheels w/ wider stickier tires on stock suspension will actually make your car lean more in the corners, which is another reason it is better to do suspension mods first, along w/ good tires.
