Default drop?????

dont know if i should drop or not

can i just get a body kit and make the car appear low for the same cost?

on average how low have you guys dropped your tegs

i hear the neuspeed sports and koni yellows are the way to go.
i dont want to have any tire problems
i mean everyone who drops their car always tells me how they have tire problems.

u can drop pretty far with a camber kit or wheel alignment w/ toe in set right after you drop. mine is dropped 2.25 w/ jdm mugen front and wings west type W side skirts...its pretty damn low. and no, the kit w/out lowering might make your cars body look lower...but youll have a horrible fender gap which makes me cringe whenever i look at cars like that .(sorry jorilla) just get a wheel alignment and toe in set right after you drop it.

I've lowered mine 35mm and i have a mugen front lip and mugen skirts, i put in the stock springs last year for my car test and it looked like awful with the kit, IMO you can only run stock ride height without a kit.

lowering isn't only for the aesthetic appeal (looks) if you choose the right suspension components it will also yield better handling.. so its sort of a win win situation (looks nice dropped and handles better)... you can get a camber kit and get an alignment and have your toe angles dialed in and have very little to no tire wear issues...

if you put a body kit that hangs low on a car w/ stock suspension.. it will appear low at the body since the kit hangs low.. but you will have a huge fender well gap and it won't look good (which I'm assuming the purchase/addition of a body kit is to look good)..

personal I have Koni yellows and Eibach sportlines it has a nice drop (approx 2"), handles very well, and overall I'm very satisfied w/ this combination.. I don't have much tire problems and my car is pretty low... you can also get coilovers so you can adjust the height to what you think is appropriate for your kit.. just make sure you get an alignment after you have it lowered...
