drivers window issue

Default drivers window issue

Whats up HT my drivers window wont go up or down but all other windows do, i have a new regulator and motor i tried replacing the main window switch and it didnt work, but sometime i can lower and the windows including the driver but then it wont go back up i have to keep pressing the button then it will go but the other windows some times is the same problem and the drivers window but i can make them go up or down on each separate switch on the door any ideas?

Check wiring in the door boot, [wires that run from door into cap of car] it is a common problem to get broken leads in the boot, especially the drivers door, [opened and closed the most]. 94

The window works off and on i tried it today and it went up and down but if i drive for 20 mins and put the window down it wont go back up for a few hours

Have you checked the wiring in the boot yet.94

Its probably a broken or kinked wire in the door boot like mentioned or a loose wire in the harness going to the main switch. Sometimes it might get a contection and other times it might get pulled away or something so just because its fine one day dont mean its not gonna come back.

Could also be a low battery causing the issue is there any dip in the electric system when turning the windows down when this happens with the engine running?
