Default dot 3 or 4

whats the difference between dot 3 and dot 4? does one work better than other? imma bout to install stainless steel braided brake lines for my car and i saw someone posting something about using dot 4 brake fluid. does dot 4 clean or work better then other?

i believe they have the same properties. dot 3 and 4 are safe to mix. i really feel there is little or no performance benefit.

They even have the wet and dry boiling points of common brake fluids. The Castrol SRF is nice, but very expensive. I recommend the Motul RBF 600, which is DOT 4.
