hello........ about a month ago i posted a thread about my windows and locks not working, i never figured out whats wrong with it so i took it to a dealership. Today i recived a call from them saying that there is a short and some loose wires where the door harness connects to main harness. they tried fixing it by making new wires, but it didnt work. now he tells me its gonna cost about $2400 to replace the door harness and the main dash harness so it would get fixed. i dont have the car with me right now... so i was just curious how hard is it to do by ur self?

 

Its not $2400 worth...depending on what has to be replaced, it might be $500 of work.
