Does this really help??
If i take my back seats out would it help me out a good bit in a race??? I never ride nobody in the back n e ways so its just a waste so im thinkin about taking them out and carpeting carpeting/wood over where it used 2 go all the way back, please give me yalls opinions, TIA....
Like newgsrdriver said, its not going to make a huge difference.. but its not that hard so why not?
If you remove the rear seats, spare tire, tools, run on 1/4 tank of gas, it will make a slight difference.

like everyone has said... every bit helps... but the back seats are so light that replacing them with wood and carpet would more than likely make up for the lost weight. A sturdy piece of wood and all the carpet is bounds to weigh somewhere near 20 pounds, give for take a lil.
does n e one know how much exactly the whole back seat weighs??

I remember someone who actually weighed the parts stated it was about 30 lbs total...but when taking them out it felt alot lighter. Just take them out then put the trunk carpet over the bare area, thats what i did...looks somewhat oem still.
Shaving off weight is key for cars like our integras. You may think "oh well thats so little, you won't feel the difference." But remember, it does add up. Say 30 pounds for seats, 20 lbs for spare. Thats 50 pounds right there. 50 pounds of excess weight that never needed to be there in the first place.
If you're "hardcore" you can start by taking out carpet, and sound insulation. I think thats about 20 pounds too. So we're up to 70. I never use my a/c so i'd probably take it out and save about 30 pounds. 100 pounds right there
. S2000 antenna kit saves about .5 pounds. Carbon fiber hood...i'm not sure but i think you guys get the point.
If you shave off 100+ lbs of excess weight you can definitely feel the difference and it feeels gewwwwwwwd.
