Does it really help?!!
At the Concord meet, I saw a CW ITR with only one seat. He took out the Backseats and the Passenger seat. Does it save that much weight? How heavy is the back seat? I might consider taking it out since NO ONE sits back there. Collects dust.
LMK if its worth it or not.

do it its looks nicer to me.
I took the
back seats, spare, rear wiper, antenna replaced and just left the black carpet
and put strong cardboard over where the seats were to sit the carpet perfect
keeping your weight down helps just a little bit
take a 1lb from a 100 places you got -100lbs
take an ounce from 16 places you have -1lb

drop the power steering and the bracket
change the i/h/e
take out the passenger seat
take the rear seats out
take the spare and jack out
take the rear wiper motor
change to s2k antenna
1/4
thats almost 200 lbs
with many many more places to go.

Take it out and weight it! 100 lbs lost is approximately .1 sec off your 1/4 mile... Approximately of course for average cars... Just be prepared for it to be louder...
I gutted my car to put my stereo in, and I drove around in it. I could feel a noticible difference...

Personally, I don't feel that it is worth my time.
I feel that if it is the type of car that I would want to put all that stuff back in when I am done, then I will not take it out to begin with.
That's my $.02

I took mine out and I like it cuz i dont have to drive a lot of people anymore
keep your interior in your car... it aint worth takin it out unless youre tryin to achieve the best time you can at the track. its ghetto if you gut your interior. just for less weight? WACK SHIET.

I don't think it's worth it, at least from a daily driven point of view.
If you do take it out, I like the idea of laying some stiff cardboard or /something/ down with some black carpet to make it look nice..

Why the hell would you do that? Its one thing to do it to a RACE or DRAG car.. but to strip a car that is driven everyday to lose a few pounds is absolutly retarded... not only does it look like trash (at least the ones i have seen) but its not convenient at all.. Keep the interior inside the car.. Get lighter seats if you want.. and dont get leather.. that will save a few pounds.. but if you ask me taking out the seats to save a few 30 lbs is stupid... thats my $.02
Doesnt make much of a difference.. I do take mine out when I go to the track b/c every little bit helps of course. But for the street its kinda over kill. All totalled your talking maybe 25lbs tops. All your gonna have is a bunch of ppl giving you funny looks cause your driving around with no interior.
