Distributor Problem
I recently did a headgasket on my car and when i tried starting it my car wasnt getting spark. I used my friends distributor and it fired up. But thats not the problem i want to know wut in the distributor went like maybe the coil or something and can i replace the part? So i can reuse my distributor cuz they are hella expensive...
the coil is tested based on ohms of resistance....there is a primary and secondary test for the coil
each test allows for an acceptable range of resistance, and if the coil specs out of that range, it is no good
as for the module, that needs a specific machine to test it for spark/timing/fuel control, which you won't have
good news is: autozone can do these tests for you for free, you just have to pull out the coil and the module
