Make sure you buy OEM. While your in there, you should replace the cap as well.
There is a wiring harness that is on your distributor...on the outside of it. It looks like there is a male and female joined together. You need to pull them apart.
After that, you pull the cap off (keep the spark plug wires connected to it) then you turn the engine over until you can access the screw that holds the rotor on. For my 97 the screw head will be facing the fire wall at a slight down ward angle.
Take off the screw (don't loose it!), take off the old rotor and put everything back in reverse order. Pau. Done.
