Differnce between B18A1 and B18B1

you answered your own question. "pretty much" = operative words
they added a solid 6 more lb/ft of tq... which changes the whole thing. c'mon, we have hondas.
my little doll-size hand wrenching makes more torque than the car the bolts are on...

one the cams in the 94 up are a little bigger (exhaust) ,94 up intake manifold are more smoother,other than that its the same
that is why i use the 94up cams/im/tb on my 93 b18a

yea you will i noticed a differnt in mid to top end power

The cam lobes on the B18B on the exhaust cam have a .2" larger cam lobe height, along with the freerer flowing IM. The 10hp difference between the90-91 to 92-93 B18A's I think has to do with the switch from OBD-0 to OBD-1, probably better fuel management and things.
