Default differences between RS and LS integras

Just as the title says i am just wondering what the differences between the RS and LS coupe integras are. I can't find anything on the differences. I found this integra today and went and looked at it and i couldn't tell which one it is so yea i'm just trying to find out what it is before i think about buying it. The guy didnt' tell me what model it was whether it was RS or LS so yea i'm looking for your guys help.

The guy is wanting $2400 but $2900 after taxes and such. It is in great shape other than small rust around the wheel well on the right side and a even smaller amount on the other side. It has 186,000 miles on it and i am just wondering is this a good price for one? Thanks in advance.

Well this would be better in the model specific forum. Also depends on what years and generations. I got a DA LS with 180k miles for $650.

I'm pretty sure RS's don't come with a sunroof unless it was specifically ordered with one. Also, some don't have power windows and other power options. I'm a bit rusty on my Teg knowledge, someone else can chime in.

RS doesn't have a sunroof like the LS.

Also I think the RS doesn't have ABS, while the LS does.

Oh sorry i figured since it wasn't technical that it shouldn't go in the tech forums. Also the year is a 1994. It's white with cloth interior that is in great shape. It starts right up. The clutch felt pretty strong. But again i'll try to get a mod to go ahead and move the post.

good deals vary a lot just from where you live, but for a 94, with 186,xxx on the clock...i'd make sure that even WITH taxes it was no more than 2k

I found out yesterday that after taxes and such it is only gonna be $2500 so i was way off lol. But i still do'nt know if it is an RS or LS because it DOES have a sunroof all power even locks, but it has the black molding and not a painted one and the wheels have hubcaps. I'm guessing it's still an LS though.

It's an LS, in 1994 the LS had hubcaps (they have 8 or 9 spokes I believe), and it also had black moldings. Although your mirrors and door handles should be paint matched, your moldings should be black plastic.

Only in later years did the LS start getting painted moldings and alloy wheels.

If you have the VIN number, you can find out for sure. The VIN number for a 1994 RS 2 door coupe, 5 speed would be JH4DC4341RSXXXXXX while the LS would be JH4DC4351RSXXXXXX

As far as it being a good deal, it sounds decent to me. I bought a 92 Integra LS for $3000, with 130k miles on it. But it was in great shape, 1 owner, no rust, no accidents, maintenance records, etc. If I were considering that car, $2500 would be a fair out the door price, but I would do a compression test, check it out thoroughly, etc before handing over the money.

186k is a lot of miles, check the cv boots, all of the suspension bushings, spark plugs (look for oil and white or black deposits), you can look at the ps/ac/alt belts to see how old they are (can indicate timing belt wear to an extent). Just the rust alone is a problem, especially in the Midwest, so I would be weary of that, and get it taken care of soon.

It is a good price! If anything may be wrong with it just go to hmotorsonline and buy a new b20b long block for 850 after shipping and drop it right in then you have your new car with a practicly brand new engine. Goodluck with the buy if you get it! I have a 98 ls did a b20vtec in it and I run 12:9 all motor daily driven. I love my teg hope you will to.

rs integra is like the dx civic. it is as basic as you can get it.... no power windows , locks, no sunroof, and the interior is more plain. first thing to look for is the sunroof.....
